From August 23 to 29, a series of events took place in Berlin under the motto “80 Years Since the End of the War – The Fate of Post-War Generations.” The main coordinator of the initiative was Walter Gauks, Commissioner of the Berlin Senate for the Affairs of Russian Germans, late resettlers, displaced persons, and refugees.
