Alternative queer comedian and one of the most distinctive figures of the modern Russian-speaking stand-up scene, Sasha Dolgopolov, presents a new English-language stand-up comedy show in Europe. This is his second full English-language tour and a completely new program created after leaving Russia and beginning life in emigration.
In this new show, Dolgopolov explores rest, slowing down, acceptance, and the search for inner balance in a world that is constantly speeding up. The audience will encounter an honest, ironic and at times paradoxical conversation about how to remain yourself when familiar reality collapses; how to balance survival and rest; how not to break under pressure and uncertainty; and how to preserve your identity even when you are not accepted.
The comedian touches on themes of migration, gender, sexuality, politics, growing up, language, and even tiny absurd fruit flies — combining intellectual sharpness, boldness, vulnerability and precise comedic rhythm. The show is entirely in English and aimed at an international audience.
Over ten years he has become one of the most influential author-driven voices in the genre: provocative, expressive, original and meaningful for a new generation of viewers.
Dolgopolov’s content on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok has gathered more than 10 million views. His seven solo hours, including one in English, have accumulated over 14 million views. In recent years he has performed in more than 24 countries — at festivals, competitions, open mic stages and hundreds of solo concerts.
The new tour marks the beginning of a new chapter, in which the comedian addresses a global audience while preserving honesty, courage and his recognizable artistic style.
