ALEXANDER BLOK. THE VOICE OF THE SILVER AGE

A poetic evening in Berlin dedicated to the 145th anniversary of Alexander Blok

This year marks the 145th anniversary of Alexander Blok, a poet of the Silver Age and a key figure in Russian Symbolism. His poetry continues to captivate with its mystical depth, and the image of the “Beautiful Lady” remains one of the most recognizable symbols of his work. Blok’s verses reflect the complex era of the early 20th century, combining personal experiences with the spirit of the time.

At the poetry evening, guests will be able to revisit familiar works and discover new facets of his talent. Blok’s poetry blends mysticism, romantic passion, and philosophical depth, keeping it relevant today.

Participants are welcome to read their favorite poems in Russian or in translation, helping to create an atmosphere where the poet’s words come alive for everyone.
