«Together in Lichtenberg» - a neighborhood festival in Berlin

On Saturday, June 27, residents and visitors of Berlin’s Lichtenberg district are invited to the neighborhood festival «Together in Lichtenberg». The organizers have prepared a packed program for visitors of all ages, where everyone can find an activity they enjoy, meet neighbors, and spend a summer day in a friendly atmosphere.

Guests can expect musical and dance performances, creative workshops for children and adults, information stands from local community initiatives, as well as cozy areas for relaxation and socializing. The festival will be a great opportunity to get to know people living nearby, learn more about life in the district, and take part in various activities.

The organizers have paid special attention to the gastronomic program. Visitors will be able to try the famous IKEA hot dogs without leaving the neighborhood. There will also be an okroshka bar offering different variations of one of the most popular summer dishes of Eastern European cuisine — both on kvass and on kefir. For those not yet familiar with this dish, the festival will be a good opportunity to discover new tastes.

In addition, a non-alcoholic bar with refreshing drinks for children and adults will be available on site.

Fans of sustainable consumption will find a special swap stand. Anyone can bring clothing they no longer wear and exchange it for other items free of charge. This initiative helps give clothes a second life and encourages more responsible consumption.

For those who want to expand their social circle, the organizers have prepared the «Speed Soseding» area — a quick-meeting format that allows you to meet new people in a relaxed setting, find like-minded individuals, and make useful connections right in your neighborhood.
