€333 million for the development of sports in Germany

Budget Committee of the Bundestag (Haushaltsausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages) approved the allocation of 333 million euros for the renovation of 314 municipal sports facilities under the federal program for 2026.

This initiative is aimed at modernizing sports infrastructure with a focus on environmental sustainability. Funding covers up to 45% of project costs, and for municipalities experiencing financial difficulties this share can reach 75%. In addition, the 2026 budget provides an increase in funding for sport and volunteer activities by 27 million euros.

Particular attention is being given to swimming pools, for the renovation of which 250 million euros have been allocated within a special tender, applications for which are accepted until 19 June 2026. The implementation of this program is the responsibility of the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Development and Spatial Development (Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung, BBSR).

Berlin's Senator for Interior Affairs and Sport Iris Spranger (Innen- und Sportsenatorin, Iris Spranger) welcomed the Bundestag's allocation of funds and confirmed the capital's intention to make appropriate use of the program. She announced that Berlin will participate in the first round of funding of the federal sports support program with 19 projects totaling around 16.2 million euros. These funds will provide a significant boost to the development of the capital's sports infrastructure.

In this case the funding will cover, in particular, key sports facilities across the city, including Flatow-Sporthalle (Kreuzberg, 2 million euros), Sporthalle Hatzfeldtallee (Reinickendorf, 2 million euros), Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark (Pankow, 1.3 million euros). Funds are also provided for the renovation of the Hans-Rosenthal-Sportanlage (Charlottenburg), the installation of artificial turf pitches at the Poststadion (Moabit) and the modernization of sports facilities on Geraer Ring (Marzahn).

In the senator's view, it is "at the level of municipalities, districts and boroughs that the foundation for successful sports development is laid."

А вы уже успели обнаружить новые купюры в 50 евро в своем портмоне? По информации портала rusverlag.de, новые банкноты появились в обороте 4 апреля во всех 19 странах-членах зоны Евро. За несколько недель до этого Немецкий Бундесбанк представил новые 50 евро в своем центральном офисе во Франкфурте-на-Майне. По словам представителя ведомства, введение новой банкноты должно пройти легко и незаметно - банки и торговые предприятия заранее приняли все необходимые меры, установили необходимое оборудование и программы для работы с новыми банкнотами, а также подготовили персонал. При оплате никаких трудностей возникнуть не должно! 5400 тонн - таков общий вес новых 5,4 миллиардов банкнот, которые передаются всем центральным банкам Евросистемы. По оценкам экспертов, уже через два-три месяца новых купюр в обиходе будет не меньше, чем стареньких «пятидесяток». На всякий случай сообщим, что старые купюры в 50 евро остаются действительными. Через некоторое время их начнут выводить с финансового рынка. Суть замены проста. Это борьба с фальшивомонетчиками. Новая купюра должна стать более безопасной и менее изнашиваемой. Последний показатель тоже очень важен! По данным Европейского центрального банка (ЕЦБ), банкноты 50€ занимают почти 50% от всего денежного оборота евро. То есть их почти столько же, сколько всего было выпущено банкнот евро всех номиналов в момент начала их хождения в конце 2002 года, пишет портал www.moneyinformer.ru.
